Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

August 9 The Jorge Pardo Trio at the Águilas summer Jazz Festival
The flautist brings jazz fusion to the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos in Águilas
The annual summer jazz festival in Águilas comes to an end on Saturday 9th August with a show featuring the Jorge Pardo Trio.
Jorge Pardo is one of the most international of Spain’s jazz musicians and has built a career in both jazz and flamenco, working with stars such as Paco de Lucía, Camarón de la Isla, Marcus Miller, Chick Corea, Al di Meola and Pat Metheny, and on this occasion he is joined by two other musicians for his appearance in Águilas.
The concert at the open-air venue of the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos begins at 22.00 (gates open at 21.30) with tickets available online here at 15 euros.
In addition, a season ticket for all three events in the 5th annual summer jazz festival can be purchased online here for 38 euros.
