August 23 Boney M live in concert in Mazarrón!
Relive the 1970s at this event in the sports complex between Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón
As part of the Mares de Papel season of concerts and other events in Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón the 1970s pop legends Boney M. are performing live on Saturday 23rd August at the sports complex between the towns (click for map).
The concert begins at 22.00 and also features DJ music, with tickets available online here at 10 euros + costs, or without costs in advance at the Oasis de las Palmeras in Bolnuevo and La Plaza Café Bar in Mazarrón. Any additional tickets will be available on the gate.
During the 70s Boney M scored worldwide number 1º hits with songs such as “Rivers of Babylon”, “Brown Girl in the Ring”, “Rasputin”, “Sunny”, “Ma Baker” and “Daddy Cool”, while in Spain their catchy Christmas hit “Feliz Navidad”, a version of José Feliciano’s song, is heard almost as frequently as “Last Christmas” in the UK!
Nowadays the line-up has changed significantly since their heyday 50 years ago, especially since the death of Bobby Farrell, but original singer Liz Mitchell is still with the group as they frequently tour in New York, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal.

In the mornings, they serve a continental breakfast and Full English Breakfast, and they even have a vegetarian option.
For lunch and dinner, they serve jacket potatoes, sandwiches, salads, hamburgers, pizzas and other bar favourites, while in the evenings they also have the option to order a Menú de Noche with a variety of starters and mains with fish, seafood, meat and veggie options.On a Sunday, they have a roast and carvery, while on Fridays they do fish & chips and every Thursday is Steak Night. There is a fully stocked bar and plenty of space both inside and out on the terrace to eat and drink.
