Cooling down for the weekend: Murcia weather forecast July 11-14
While Saturday and Sunday will bring a bit of respite, Friday will bring heat warnings to the entire Region of Murcia
Murcia weather forecast, Friday July 12
It’s been a stifling few days for parts of Murcia and it’s about to get even hotter, with the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) activating either yellow or orange weather warnings for the whole Region of Murcia on Friday July 12.
On Thursday July 11, the north and centre of the Region are on yellow alert between 1pm and 9pm for temperatures that could reach up to 39ºC. There is also a warning that air quality could be affected on this day due to calima, or Saharan dust particles in the air.

Elsewhere, in the north and southeast around the Mar Menor, yellow level warnings are in place.
