December 6 Christmas craft fair at La Palmera Bar & Grill in support of MABS
Browse clothing, crafts and local produce and enjoy festive entertainment at Los Urrutias’s premier venue

La Palmera Bar & Grill in Los Urrutias is hosting a charity Christmas craft fair on Saturday December 6 from 11am in support of MABS, a non-profit foundation that provides emotional, practical and logistical support to people affected by cancer throughout Spain.
The festive event will feature a variety of stalls offering everything from clothing and household items to artisan crafts and local produce.
Tiger Feet pop-up clothes store will be showcasing their latest collections alongside KS Perfect Scents, Household Gems, Nature Preserve and Bags Galore. Art lovers can browse work from Art By Ian while food enthusiasts will find treats from the English Cheese Company and Bowls of Fire.
There will also be cakes, pastries, sweets and jewellery available throughout the day.
Visitors will have the chance to win a festive hamper, with all proceeds going directly to MABS. The charity receives no financial support from local or regional governments and relies entirely on fundraising, donations and its network of charity shops to continue its vital work supporting cancer patients and their families in the Region of Murcia.The highlight of the day will be a performance by the Joy Gospel Choir at 1pm, promising to get everyone into the Christmas spirit with their uplifting festive repertoire.
La Palmera Bar & Grill has a busy schedule of entertainment leading up to the Christmas fair. Chris Power will be providing karaoke and disco entertainment on November 25 at 8pm, followed by Greg March performing on November 29, also at 8pm. The venue also hosts Fantastic Quingo every Tuesday at 3pm for those looking for regular entertainment.

Sundays at La Palmera are all about those incredible smoked roast boards that have become the stuff of local legend. The kitchen team slow-smokes succulent beef brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs and tender chicken, then serves it all up on sharing platters alongside perfectly roasted potatoes and vegetables, fluffy Yorkshire puddings and rich Guinness gravy.
The boards come in three sizes: the 2 Bob Board at €33, the 3 Bob Board at €45 or go all out with the 4 Bob Board at €60.
Regular live entertainment

La Palmera knows how to keep the party going with their fantastic line-up of regular entertainment. You'll find silent discos where you can dance the night away to your own beat, live music that gets everyone singing along, and dance classes that are guaranteed to have you laughing and moving (even if you've got two left feet).
But the real highlight has to be Quingo every Tuesday. It's competitive, hilarious and the perfect way to test your knowledge while having a proper laugh with friends.
