Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
January 26 Cross country race and hike in the coves of Bolnuevo
A testing 16-km trail race or a non-competitive 11-km hike along the Mazarrón coastline
The 11th edition of the annual “Cross-Trail Calas de Bolnuevo” cross country running race and hiking event is being held on Sunday January 26 by the Club Deportivo Bahía de Mazarrón and the Town Hall of Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón, with the course taking competitors to the unspoilt coastline of the coves of Bolnuevo on the Mazarrón coastline.
The cross-country race is over a demanding 16-kilometre course while the non-competitive hike is along an 11- kilometre route. The race begins at 10.00 and the hike 10 minutes later.
Registration is open online here but with the number of participants limited to 150 on the hike and 450 racers you should make sure your name is included as soon as possible!
