July 11 The Antonio Lizana Quintet and Belter Souls at the 2025 San Javier International Jazz Festival
Spanish jazz star Antonio Lizana and the fantastic Belter Souls from Murcia at the open-air auditorium of Parque Almansa in San Javier!
Jazz saxophonist, flamenco singer and skilled composer Antonio Lizana is one of the brightest stars in the firmament of the new flamenco-jazz fusion and without doubt one of the best representatives of genuinely Spanish jazz. Since he was invited to Jazz San Javier in 2015 he has performed in more than 30 countries, cementing the great reputation built on his début album “De Viento”, which led to predictions that he would become one of the greats of Spanish jazz: he has far surpassed that prophecy.
He returns with a quintet of great musicians and the brilliant singer Sheila Blanco in a concert that will touch the soul of true jazz fans

Following Antonio Lizana onto the stage of the open-air auditorium in Parque Almansa are Belter Souls, one of the crown jewels of the crown of Murcia region’s current musical scene. This music and performing arts company was founded in Murcia in 2016 by musician and producer Pablo de Torres, a graduate of the Conservatorio Superior del Liceu, and has developed a unique identity in its concerts, built on the power of the voice, the fusion of styles, and the originality of its arrangements. For this occasion, a choir of ten singers, featuring some of the finest voices in Spain, along with five outstanding instrumentalists, take us on a musical journey through the company’s nine-year history, focussing primarily on their work as interpreters of soul and gospel, as well as their most recent projects inspired by Spanish music. Expect stunning vocal harmonies, joy, energy, and optimism in this special Belter Souls concert!
