Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

The third and final free concert of the 2026 San Javier Jazz Festival on the Explanada Barnuevo alongside the Mar Menor
The third and final free concert included in the programme for the 2026 San Javier Jazz Festival takes place on Sunday, July 19th on the Explanada Barnuevo in Santiago de la Ribera and features The Minor Jazz Collective with special guest Raynald Colom.
The Minor Jazz Collective emerged from the San Javier Music Conservatory when it was created 18 years ago by Antonio F. Baeza at the San Javier Conservatory. Directed by Professor Baeza and consisting of current jazz students and alumni who have graduated and are now professionals, along with excellent musicians from the region such as Ángel Valdegrama, Samuel Baeza, Jaime Campillo, Cristóbal Rodríguez, and Juan Diego Rosique, the band presents a varied repertoire that includes legendary jazz, flamenco jazz, and Latin jazz pieces, as well as some compositions by the director.
As a special guest, the show features prestigious trumpeter Raynald Colom, fresh from his performance with Carles Benavent three days before!
The concertbegins at 22.00 on the Paseo Barnuevo.
