Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

July 6 to 11 Nebulossa and Malena Gracia top the Bill at the Pride Festival in Los Alcázares
Los Alcázares celebrates diversity on the shore of the Mar Menor
The annual “El Mar Menor vibra con Orgullo” Pride festival in Los Alcázares is being held for the third time in 2026, consisting of almost a week of events highlighting diversity, the LGTBIQ+ community, respect and equality.
As many as 30 acts will be taking to the stage set up in the Plaza de la Feria, the highlights including Nebulossa, Malena Gracia, Satín Greco, Le Cocó and Pitita, alongside plenty of others such as Laca Udilla, Dafne Mugler, Kelly Roller, Ferrxn, Miss Meferina, Salva Ortega, Kuve and Keunam.
As a counterpoint to the entertainment, quick HIV tests will be available all day on 10th July and in the morning of the 11th at the Town Hall.
The timetable of events for the festival includes the following:
Thursday July 9
22.00: Gala Míster Orgullo del Mar Menor in the Plaza de la Feria.
Friday July 10
22.00: Gala Divas y Reinas in the Plaza de la Feria.
Saturday July 11
19.00: Parade from the Plaza del Espejo to the Plaza de la Feria along the seafront.
20.00: A manifesto is read by the “Lo tienes claro?” association and the Mayor of Los Alcázares, Mario Pérez Cervera.
This is followed by the opening speech, delivered by Keunam, Kuve and Satín Greco.
21.00: A grand gala with performances by Angelita la Perversa, Pupi Poison, Dita Dibois, Pinkchadora, Paca Merino, Imperio Reina, Laca Udilla, Ferrxn, Margarita Kalifata, Kuve and Nebulossa.
