Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

Local government office in Los Narejos now offers Padrón and digital certificate services
The OMITA office eliminates the need for residents to visit the main Town Hall building in Los Alcázares
The OMITA local government office of the Town Hall of Los Alcázares in Los Narejos is widening the range of services it offers to include Padrón and Digital Certificate registrations, both of which are necessary for residents to initiate practically any administrative procedure or request for help from the council.
The OMITA is located in the CISSMU building on Avenida del Ferrocarril and the office is open to the public on weekdays from 9.00 to 14.00. Those wishing to register on the Padrón or apply for their Digital Certificates can do so presenting a valid DNI, NIE or passport.
The services now offered by the OMITA include the following:
Issuing digital certificates
Padrón certificates
Registering, unregistering or modifying details on the Padrón
Consumer complaint registrations
Applications for Town Hall financial aid
Requests for infant school and kindergarten registration
Reporting problems and defects in parks and gardens
Standing orders for local taxes
Minor building licences
Payment of water and rubbish collection bills
Food aid program applications
Registration of communications with the Town Hall and other administrative bodies
