Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
Municipal library, Pilar de la Horadada
There is also an extension in Campoverde which has foreign language books
The main municipal library of Pilar de la Horadada is in the building known as the Casa de la Cultura, which also hosts the municipal archaeological museum and auditorium, as well as exhibition room.
The library itself has nearly 17,000 books which can be borrowed by residents, as well as audiovisual and digital material, and has a children’s and youth area as well as adult section.
There is an adult reading room and study área, as well as three free internet access points.
In order to borrow books it is necessary to register with the library, and use the card borrowing system. To apply for a card bring along two Passport sized photographs, a photocopy of either Passport or NIE card, and fill in a form.

For most of the year the library is open from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9am and 2pm, then 4pm to 9pm.
Campoverde foreign language lending service
A multi-lingual extension of the lending library can be found in the municipal office at Avenida del Pino 45 in Pinar de Campoverde, and is open from 8.30 to 15.00 Monday to Friday.
