Murcia weekend weather forecast June 4-7
A warm and largely settled weekend awaits the Region, with temperatures in the low-to-mid 30s and barely a cloud in the sky

After a pleasantly sunny start to June, the good weather is set to continue right through the weekend and into early next week. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the Region of Murcia can look forward to warm, dry conditions, with maximum temperatures comfortably in the low- to mid-30s in central and inland areas and pleasant southeasterly breezes keeping conditions from feeling too oppressive.
There is a slight caveat due to a small possibility of brief, light showers in the Region, though most areas will remain dry and this should not dampen what is otherwise a very promising outlook for the weekend.
Thursday June 4
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday June 4Thursday begins on a warm note. Aemet is forecasting mainly clear to partly cloudy skies across the Region, with a light to moderate south-easterly breeze of around 15-16 km/h providing some relief from the heat. Minimum overnight temperatures will be around 17-18ºC across the Region, with the coast naturally remaining warmer.
Daytime maximums will climb to 33-35ºC in central Murcia and the Vega del Segura, while northern towns such as Yecla and Jumilla will see slightly lower highs of around 29-31ºC. There is a small chance of an isolated and very light shower developing somewhere in the Region during the afternoon, most likely in the more elevated northwestern municipalities like Caravaca de la Cruz and Bullas, though any such rainfall will be brief and localised. For the vast majority of the Region, it will be a hot, dry day.
Friday June 5
Murcia weather forecast, Friday June 5
Friday will be more overcast, with the risk of showers increasing in the centre-north and northeast of the Region, especially during the afternoon, even as temperatures remain largely unchanged from Thursday.
Maximum temperatures will again be around 33-35ºC inland and in the central zone, while the Costa Cálida coastline around Cartagena, Mazarrón and Águilas will remain somewhat cooler thanks to the sea breeze, peaking at around 27-29ºC. Minimum overnight temperatures will stay at 17ºC across most of the interior, and a degree or two higher along the coast.
Saturday June 6
Murcia weather forecast, Saturday June 6
Saturday looks like the pick of the weekend. Aemet is forecasting cloudless or near-cloudless skies across all of the Region, with temperatures nudging up slightly compared to the preceding days. Humidity drops noticeably – down to around 52% – making the heat feel more comfortable than the figures might suggest.
Daytime highs will reach 33-36ºC in Murcia city and the central inland strip, while the northern Region and the coastal belt stay a little fresher. It will be an excellent day for the beach, with good conditions expected along the entire Costa Cálida from San Javier and La Manga down to Águilas. Sunset will come at around 9.13pm, giving plenty of time for a long evening outdoors.
Sunday June 7
Murcia weather forecast, Sunday June 7
Sunday maintains the same pleasant summer pattern. Clear to lightly hazy skies, temperatures holding at 33-35ºC in central and inland areas, a moderate south-easterly breeze of around 15kmh, and no rain whatsoever. Overnight minimums will again be around 17ºC in the north and interior, with coastal areas staying warmer.
Looking ahead to the start of the following week, there is no sign of any significant change in the weather pattern. Temperatures are expected to continue rising gradually, with highs edging up towards 36-38ºC by mid-month as the Region moves deeper into summer. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend is in store for Murcia.
