Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

November 27 Free original version screening of Chaplin’s City Lights in Cartagena
94 years after its release this Chaplin classic returns to Cartagena
The Filmoteca Regional La Filmoteca Regional de Murcia is holding a new season of free screenings of classic movies in Cartagena this autumn, all at the Fundación Mediterráneo (Calle Mayor, 11), with the full programme as follows. No admission fee is charged and all members of the public are welcome to come along and enjoy some of the finest films ever made in original language version.
Thursday October 2 – Megalopolis: A Fable (2024) directed by Francis Ford Coppola (original language version), starring Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Giancarlo Esposito, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne and Aubrey Plaza. Starts at 18.30.
Thursday October 9 – Crisis (1946) directed by Ingmar Bergman (original language version). Starts at 18.30.
Thursday October 16 – The Bridges of Madison County (1995), directed by and starring Clint Eastwood with Meryl Streep. Starts at 18.30.
