Hello, and thank you for choosing Mazarron Murcia to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
October 13 Fun family dog show in Aguilas
Prizes for best mongrels, children’s dogs and sausage-eating champions!
A fun, low-key dog show is being held at the municipal showground of Águilas (Recinto Ferial Adolfo Suarez) during the morning of Sunday 13th October, with the following events scheduled:
10.30: Registration of competing dogs and ownerso.
10.45: Competition for the most attractive male mongrel.
11.10: Competition for the most attractive female mongrel.
11.30: Display by the Escuela Amores Perrunos Lorca and presentation of the new Canine Unit of the Policía Local.
12.15: Competition for children aged 5 to 12 and their dogs. Costumes optional! (probably for the kids, not the dogs!)
12.30: Competition for the best pedigree dog.
12.45: Question and answer sesión with the municipal vet.
13.00: Sausage-eating relay race!
Registration costs 5 euros for dogs, while admission as a spectator costs just 1 euro (dogs and children free of charge). Registration can be completed by Whatsapp on 660 137890.
