Open-air swimming pool in Los Alcázares opens on June 1
The Ola Azul pool is a popular spot to spend a relaxing summer’s day in Los Alcázares
As May draws to a close the summer is beginning to heat up along the shore of the Mar Menor and good news for those in and around Los Alcázares is that the iconic Ola Azul public open-air swimming pool opens its doors to the public on Sunday 1st June.
The pool is open every day from 11.30 to 19.30, providing welcome relief from the heat for those who prefer a dip under the supervision of lifeguards and with all the facilities you would expect rather than the hustle and bustle of the beaches.
The season ends on 15th September, and prices have been set at just 3 euros for adults and 2 euros for children. Discount vouchers are available for those who intend to use the facilities on a regular basis, and patrons are requested to pay by card rather than in cash.
Among the facilities on hand are the café, a children’s area, changing rooms, shaded areas, hammocks and rest areas, making this a great spot for a relaxing day on your own or with the family.
It has also been confirmed that the pool of Punta Calera will open to the public on 1st July.
