Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Parking Plaza del Puerto in Alicante City (2.0 metre height restriction)
Central underground parking on the port of Alicante between Postiguet beach and the city centre
Easy parking for the cruise ship port and visiting the tourist sites of the city centre.
There is a large underground car park located in the Puerto de Alicante along Calle de Muelle de Levante, between the Postiguet beach and the leisure zone of the port.
The parking is conveniently only 200 metres from the Ayuntamiento (town hall) and 50 metres from the Volvo Ocean Race museum, making it the ideal choice for visitors wishing to see the main attractions in the city centre.
The car park is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, and is monitored by security guards and cameras at all times. The car park is also fully equipped with an information desk and vending machines.
There is ample parking space for manoeuvring, with a total of 355 spaces including 7 disabled parking spaces. The maximum height restriction is 2 metres.
Parking costs just 2 euros per hour and tickets are to be collected on entering the car park via the automatic barriers. Tickets can then be paid for on returning to the car after your visit by using the self -service ticket machines located near to the stairway exists.
Two car park entrances and one exit for vehicles can be located along Calle Muelle de Levante, which are clearly signposted with blue signs saying “Públic, Plaza del Puerto” and digitally show if the carpark has spaces (‘Libre’) or is full (‘Completo’).
There are several pedestrian entrances and exits with clearly marked sets of steps leading up to different sections of the port on both sides of the car park. The exit and access points are clearly marked by green illuminated signs, which also indicate where the steps lead to above ground.

Directions
Calle Muelle de Levante can easily be accessed from the N-332 heading southwest on Carrer de Jovellanos towards Plaza Paseíto Ramiro by turning a slight right onto Passieg Espanada d’Espanya which then becomes Plaza Puerta del Mar/N-332 and then turning left on Muelle Levante. The carparking can be located further along the road on the right.
The car park can also be accessed from the Rambla de Méndez Núñez heading south (towards the port) by turning left onto Calle San Fernando, then turning right onto Plaza Puerta del Mar and turning right again onto Muelle Levante.
