Rain on Saturday, but much drier overall: Murcia weekend weather forecast March 12-15
There should be plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy a bit of sunshine in the next few days

Murcia weather forecast, Saturday March 14
The forecast by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for the weather in the Region of Murcia this weekend is actually quite positive – much drier than in previous days, with the only rain forecast for the period between Thursday and Sunday coming early on Saturday, and for now Aemet’s forecast of sunny weather continues into next week, too.
Thursday March 12
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday March 12Thursday is forecast to bring fairly clear skies to most parts of the Region, with some high cloud cover and more overcast conditions on the coast near Mazarrón, Cartagena and La Manga and some fogginess in Alhama de Murcia, especially in the early part of the day.
In terms of temperatures, minimums will be around 4-6ºC in the north at night and 8-10ºC in the centre and south of the Region, while maximum temperatures by around 4pm will get up to 17-20ºC in most parts, with the warmest towns being in the centre of the Region, near Murcia city.
Friday March 13
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia, Friday March 13On Friday, minimum temperatures stay more or less the same while maximums rise by a couple of degrees, and the sky condition will be less cloudy, showing bright sunshine all day long.
Aemet notes that there will be “´light westerly winds, occasionally moderate during the latter part of the day,” but nothing too blustery that will blow you away.
Saturday March 14
Murcia weather forecast, Saturday March 14It is at about 6am on Saturday morning when the rain is due to fall again, in every part of the Region of Murcia. However, it will drizzle for a bit and then peter out during the course of the early afternoon, leaving a dry night. However, temperatures will be a bit lower than they were on Friday which, when mixed with the overcast and wet conditions, will make it feel a good deal chillier.
Sunday March 15
Murcia weather forecast, Sunday March 15Luckily, Aemet’s forecast for Sunday is for a return to the dry weather. Yes, it will be cloudier than Friday, and the meteorologists do note that “minimum temperatures will decrease slightly, with light frosts in the northwest,” but it should be pleasant enough to get outside and enjoy the weekend, probably with a coat on still.
Looking ahead to Monday and Tuesday, Aemet forecasts barely a cloud in the sky, no rain and stable temperatures. At last!
