Renfe launches Black Friday sale with tickets from €7 to kick off 2026 travel
Thousands of discounted high-speed and long-distance train tickets available until 30 November for journeys starting January 8
Renfe has launched its Black Friday campaign early this year, offering thousands of discounted tickets across its high-speed and long-distance network across Spain. From now until 30 November, travellers can snap up AVE tickets starting at just €19 and Avlo low-cost fares from an incredible €7, available for travel from January 8, 2026.
This “Super Price” promotion covers popular routes on AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity, and AVE International services. Tickets come in two options: the Basic ticket, which has the lowest price, and the Choose ticket, which costs just €3 more and offers more flexibility in case travel plans change (with the exception of AVE International).
Loyalty programme members of Más Renfe can stack these discounts with points they have already accumulated for additional savings.
Renfe operates over 300 daily long-distance services, giving passengers access to the largest network of routes and frequencies in Spain. The company prides itself on service punctuality and quality, regularly publishing performance data, something unique among Spanish rail operators.
In recent years, Renfe has also made impressive strides in sustainability. It has reduced its energy consumption by 13% and cut its carbon footprint by 20%, bringing emissions down to just 3.79 grams of CO₂ per passenger kilometre in 2024 - 35 times lower than car travel.
If you’re planning trips for 2026, this is the perfect time to book and enjoy Spain’s high-speed rail network at unbeatable prices.
