Spain Today Online acquires Costa Calida Chronicle magazine
We are broadening our portfolio of media publications in the Region of Murcia

There are yet more exciting new developments for Spain’s English-language media landscape as the shareholders of Spain Today Online have acquired The Home & Living Magazine/Costa Calida Chronicle.
Based at Mazarrón’s Camposol urbanisation, the Chronicle has been going for over 20 years and has been supplying useful local information of interest to a loyal readership base.
Not only that, but the Chronicle has long served as a useful tool for local businesses in the southwest of Murcia to connect with prospective customers.
Spain Today Online SL, which runs the news websites Spanish News Today, Alicante Today, Murcia Today, Camposol Today and more, has been running for over 15 years and is a trusted source of online print news about Spain in English.
By joining forces, Spain Today Online and the Costa Calida Chronicle hope to be able to offer even better news and information services to the local community.
In October 2024, Spain Today Online also acquired TKO Radio, up until then based up in Torrevieja and the surrounding area, and has since extended the radio station’s reach down into the Region of Murcia, along the Mar Menor and central Murcia, past Cartagena and as far as Mazarrón.
Peter Fisher, Owner and Director of Spain Today Online, said of the latest acquisition, “The shareholders of Spain Today Online are very pleased to announce the acquisition of The Home & Living Magazine/Costa Calida Chronicle and as it will expand the media group, extend the advertising options for business in Murcia and consolidate the English-language media news base in the Costa Cálida, Costa Blanca and Costa de Almería.”
From the Costa Calida Chronicle, they added, “I am thrilled to announce that The Home & Living Magazine/The Costa Calida Chronicle is moving to a wonderful new home with Murcia Today! This transition marks a fantastic opportunity for the magazine to thrive under exceptional new stewardship. I am wholly confident that it is in the best hands, ensuring a future filled with success and innovation. Here’s to new beginnings and continued excellence.”
Look out for your copy of The Home & Living Magazine/Costa Calida Chronicle in local establishments in southern Murcia!
