Step into a world of wonder: Giant Playmobil exhibition returns to Molina de Segura
Over 8,000 pieces bring history and fantasy to life in this free, fun-filled display until January
If you’re a fan of Playmobil, or simply love discovering miniature worlds full of detail and imagination, the “Territorio Playmobil” exhibition in Molina de Segura is the place to be this winter. Now in its second year, this delightful exhibition has grown by 2,000 pieces, showcasing a staggering collection of more than 8,000 original Playmobil figures and sets, many of which are discontinued and were sourced from auctions across Europe.Spread across 74 square meters at the El Jardín Municipal Exhibition Hall, this free exhibition tells stories through beautifully crafted scenes that transport visitors through different historical eras and fantastical realms. To help you step into each world, the dedicated collectors behind the display have prepared information panels filled with fascinating historical context.
Visitors embark on a magical tour with six stops, starting with Jurassic Park, complete with dinosaurs and paleontologists striving to bring extinct species back to life. From there, the journey sails to the Viking Age with mighty longships, then transports you to bustling London in the early 20th century, where markets and music fill the streets.
Further adventures bring you to a quaint Bavarian alpine village with its snow-covered rooftops and lively ski resort, before moving on to the rich culture of the Aztec Empire, where market days and sacred rituals unfold. Finally, the exhibition wraps up in a charming fantasy world inhabited by elves, dwarves, and magical creatures.
The display is designed to be interactive and engaging, featuring a photo booth, life-sized figures to snap fun pictures with, and a playful “spot the infiltrator” game where visitors hunt for an out-of-place figure in each scene.
Open every day from Monday to Sunday until 9 January 2026, the exhibition welcomes all ages from 10.30am to 1.30pm and then again from 5.30pm to 8.00pm. No reservations are needed, making it a perfect, easy day out for families, collectors, and the curious alike.
Whether you’re looking for a nostalgic journey through history or a captivating fantasy adventure, the “Territorio Playmobil” exhibition promises a joyful escape into miniature worlds where every figure has a story to tell.
