Up to 37 degrees in the shade this weekend: Murcia weather forecast May 29-June 1
It’s going to stay hot and dry with barely a wisp of a breeze this weekend, but temperatures may dip ever so slightly at the start of next week
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday May 29
It’s going to be a gorgeously sunny weekend in the Region of Murcia to see off May and kick off June, according to the weather forecast from Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
There will be settled conditions all weekend long, with little cloud cover and light, gentle breezes.
While in parts of Spain, such as Seville, they’re expecting highs of up to 40ºC, in Murcia maximum temperatures will reach up to around 36-37ºC in the centre and north, while it will be more like 29-33ºC along the coast.
As the weekend goes on, minimum temperatures at night will climb to around 17-18ºC in inland areas while in the south of Murcia it will not be cooler than 19-21ºC at the coldest part of the night, around 6am.

For Friday May 30, Aemet is forecasting a “slight presence of airborne dust”, that calima that makes everything a little bit hazy and settles on surfaces like fine sand.
In addition, in the far northwestern mountains of Murcia, near the provincial border with Jaén and Albacete, Aemet “does not rule out isolated and occasional showers” in the afternoons of Friday and Saturday.
As we know, when combined with the calima, the rain can bring muddy deposits, but the chance of heavy red rain is slim to none this weekend.

Looking ahead to next week, the calm and sunny conditions are forecast to continue, while maximum temperatures drop very slightly – only by a degree or two.
