Hello, and thank you for choosing Mazarron Murcia to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
June 8 La Huerta de la Roja fiestas in Águilas
An afternoon of music, fun and food on the northern edge of Águilas
The district of la Huerta de la Roja in Águilas is holding its annual fiesta on Sunday 8th June, the day before the public holiday for the Day of the Region of Murcia, aptly enough in the Plaza de la Región de Murcia (click for map).
The schedule for the day includes the following:
12.00: Performance by students at the “Imperial Estudio” dance academy.
12.30: Foam party.
14.00: Giant paella (3 euros per portion).
16.00: Charity bingo.
17.00: Paint war, balloons, facepainting and other activities.
18.30 to 22.30: Children’s games, bouncy castles, etc.
20.00: Concert by Esmeralda.
21.30: “Trovos” traditional songs.
22.30: Live music from Propiedad Privada.
A bar/ canteen will be open throughout the day.
