In a nutshell, back on Tuesday October 14, Microsoft stopped providing support for Windows 10, meaning users no longer receive software updates, security checks or technical assistance from Microsoft.

In theory, this leaves thousands of computers vulnerable to emerging security threats, malware and system vulnerabilities.
