Mazarron Murcia is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Mazarron Murcia, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

Until October 18 Tourist train service during the fiestas of Pilar de la Horadada
The celebrations are getting into full swing as the municipality celebrates the feast day of the Virgen del Pilar
With the annual fiestas in Pilar de la Horadada now Beginning to gather momentum, the Town Hall has confirmed that the tourist train will be running between 6th and 18th October to help people move from one location to another as the events and activities come thick and fast!
The train will be following a 30-minute circular route, starting in the Plaza de la Iglesia and stopping at Rambla - CEIP Virgen del Pilar, the fairground, Avda. Felipe VI (Mercadillo) and Parque 30 de Julio before making its way back to the Plaza de la Iglesia.
The timetable for the service is as follows:
October 6, 7 and 8: 17.00 – 23.00
October 9 and 10: 10.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 21.00
October 11 and 12: 10.00 to 14.00
October 13: 10.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 21.00
October 15: 12.00 to 18.00
October 17 and 18: 10.00 to 14.00
