What's on in Águilas August 2025
The height of summer brings a huge variety of guided tours, musical events and fun on the beach as locals and holidaymakers enjoy August by the Mediterranean!
As is the case elsewhere along the coastline of Murcia the summer season is definitely at its peak now, with the sand and sea in tiptop condition and air and water temperatures still rising as the beaches welcome the annual influx of holidaymakers.
But at the same time there is, as always, plenty more to see and do in Águilas, including museums, sightseeing in the town and along the spectacular coastline, sports and musical activities and events at the majestic seafront auditorium. Plus, if you're feeling peckish, a meal at one of the many restaurants open all year round, where the local red prawns are not to be missed!
Unsurprisingly, many of the events this month are being held in the open air, in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos.
Whatever the reason for your visit, don't forget to make the tourist office your first port of call - click here for map.
For further information on these and other events, as well as places to see and visit throughout the municipality, contact the tourist office of Águilas or visit the home page of Águilas Today.
NOTE: This schedule is likely to be updated as the month progresses...
